BUY A TICKET It is a fact, if you fail to buy a ticket, you won't win! Ok, so this chance is small but it is so much more than impossible!
Should you decide to put that $1 on Powerball, you now have a chance of 1 in 146 million to win. Should you put down another $1, you improve your chance to 2 in 146 million! Now which $1 gave more value? The first $1 raised the probability from 'hell no' to 'yes I can' while the second $1 simply improve you chance. Each $1 you add, merely improves you chance slightly.
So the moral to this story, invest the first $1 ... gamble the rest!
